Thread: IE 7.0 Users I need your help????

When I skate through my site in particular the part of the site where there is streaming media, the little progress circle in the tab locks up and the progress indicator at the bottom does too... giving me the perception that IE 7.0 is locking up. But its not if I give it a few seconds the page downloads.... I need to know if it’s my Computer that is suffering to this or if it is my site causing this phenomenon. (Note: Once the files are downloaded from the pages it no longer does this but, the initial time of clicking on the link for the first time it locks the progress icons up.)

If you could please check to see if your IE 7.0 is acting the same way by clicking on the links provided it would be much appreciated.

It did the same for me with IE7 only for the first clip and it asked me to click on a button to allow activex to run which is fine. that is just a security setting on my system. Everything works great in FIreFox but IE7 was a bit glitchy. I really hate IE7......

Yeah, IE 7 is a thorn in my side... I've posted announcements on my site about the problem... I've trouble shooted the problem and it was the Media Player causing this... 6.0 had no problems... but seems 7.0 wants to download the whole page before it is viewed, rather than allowing you to see the page download... i contacted microsoft and they gave me the run around... its good to know firefox works well.

it loaded a bit slow in my IE7 but once was up was fine... dunno if this answers your question tho but hope it helps... :-

Once everything was cached in IE7 it loaded almost as fast as as Mozilla uncached!....Did I mention that I hate IE7??????

It may be my Anti-virus slowing the process... but i'm glad most of you have had no problems I was sweating it... I had removed everything and trouble shotted the pages to no end... I guess I shouldn't fret it, but I hate to loose skaters because of flaw... thank you all.
