Hi everyone, this is the first time I have attempted to do a website so pardon my ignorance. Can anyone tell me how to ensure that when I press on my link buttons, they will actually go to those specific pages. Also do you need to have uploaded the pages first before this will work?

Yes, links between pages will only work when published. A button that is linked to a specific page on your site (or someone else's site) can only lead there and nowhere else.
