My web site is www.citylightsmusic.net. I am having trouble getting my pages to center on everyones screen. I am using a wide screen laptop and my pages are centered on it but alot of people tell me they are not centered on theirs. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Moonpi Do you have your page width set at 800. This allows you to center the page. You may have to resize your image and Nave Bar to fit it in. I looked at your page and it isn't centered in my screen either.

Hey, Make sure your page dimentions are 800 x 600 because that is the smallest screen resolution that there is out there. Then you can right click > page properties > center page Once you do that .. the page will be centered on everyones browser no matter what. If you we're to put 1200 x 800 lets say, and someone is using 600 x 800 they would have to scroll left and right. Let me know..

Hi, I personally never centre my pages until I have finished the page, it saves a lot of messing around with tools & centring wile making the page. If you start from the left hand side of a BV page & keep everything to the left side of the 800 vertical mark, all will be ok. Just before you publish use a shape box to find the widest part of your page. IE: open a shape box & place it hard over to the left, then pull the box out to the widest item you have on the page, so its right on edge of the right hand side of this item. Look to the bottom right corner of your screen to see the size of the shape you have made. If its (lets say) 793 wide, delete the temporary shape, then set your page to this 793 & tick the centre box, then save & publish. At this point in time, I make most of my pages around the 780/790 mark if you don’t want visitors to have scroll bars. I find with 800 you still get horizontal scroll bars on some small screens & 15” lap tops.
