Help in constructing a form to enable sample download

Hi all,

I am trying to market an ebook I wrote. I want to create a section on my sales landing page in which a potential customer fills in his/her name and email, and they can then go ahead to download a sample chapter of my ebook (or alternatively, have my autoresponder automatically send the sample ebook chapter to their email inbox).

I'm quite lousy at all the technical stuff, so can anyone out kindly guide me step-by-step on how to achieve this??

The best way to do it would be to create a PDF file with the amount of text you want.... seperate from the PDF you are selling then just add a link to download it as a free sample.... easy enough, because I know I hate haveing to register and all that... but if the free sample is there to download I probably wouldnt pass it up.

A small PHP script would be needed to collect the name and email first
and would then send them to the free download page......

edit: Just went to your website, and you seem to have everything already in place.

Instead of sending them to your thank you page, send them to the download free item
which could also contain a thank you............
