Thread: draw box around text

Hi,
I would like to draw a box around some text. Is there some easy way to do this?

Select SHAPE (top menu)
size the shape(rectangle) to fit round the text
place text on top of the shape..............

Create a shape using the shape button. Double click the shape and change the properties so that the shape is transparent. Choose a border width and the colour you want. You can then have this 'frame' below or above your text and it will look like a frame around your text.
