Webpage background help

When I change the background colour and then look at a print preview the whole page is the new background colour. But when I import a webpage background and then take a print preview only half the page is the imported background and when I tried printing, only half the webpage background was printed.
Any ideas?

The best I can tell you is, "Things are seen and printed very differently than what appears on your screen". Web pages are not the same as pages you would print ... you would need to design a page differently when it comes to printing than what you would see just viewing on the internet ... hope this helps you understand things a little better.
