Thread: Couldnt install Votepro. KINDLY HELP ME..

Hi, please kindly assist me in installing votepro. I read the installation instruction http://www.vodahost.com/vodatalk/scr...ng-script.html

Did upload the votepro folder into my public_html. Also chge "config" file to 666. But when i acces my webby http://www.crusadersgroup.com/votepro

It gave me this msg:

Internal Server Error

Any kind souls out there to help? I've seen some other pple receving the same error msg too. Also, the instruction given was not clear. The vodahost stated in instruction No.4>> Go to http://your.site.com/votepro

I dun understd this clause. Am i suppose to type http://crusadersgroup.com/votepro OR http://www.crusadersgroup.com/votepro ?? Is it correct to leave out the "www"??

Anyway, i've tried BOTH and to no avail. Would greatly appreciate any help.

Set the permissions to 755 and you should be good to go.

Hi, sorry to bother u AGAIN. My issue now is: when i go to www.crusadersgroup.com/votepro, i get this:

In my old thread, (which was deleted by someone!!) I rmb i saw u replying to a person who had the same prob & was stuck on this page.. (I cant rmb he/she name)

If i am not wrong, the ADMIN sectors were all be my choice rite? No need to follow my original CPanel username & password rite? That is for example:

Admin user: abc
ADmin pass: 123456
Admin email: << is this the email which i want the votes to send to? >>

DB Host: localhost
DB user: << my Cpanel username rite? >>
DB Password: << my Cpanel pasword rite? >>
DB DB name: I REALLY DUNNO WADS THIS... is it the SQL database name? (heeelp!)

It just that sometimes, there TOO MANY threads around & i cant figure out which is which.
