Thread: page width problem

i am trying to nail down the page width problem. most sites when you have your browser minimized, it looks ok, then when you maximize, the site changes to scale. when i maximize my page, i end up with a huge white border on the right.

does anyone know how i can fix this or atleast get the page to center itself when someone maximizes the window?

In Blue Voda, to center the page, you want to go into properties (double click on blank space on the page) and click the box to center.

properties isn't available. i double clicked on a blank spot and nothing happened. so i went into edit, and properties wasn't available. i don't see any other properties option.

If you can't right click on an empty spot - go into view at the top and find page properties there - and you can center from there.

(Sorry, I see I said double click before - you need to right click - or do as I just suggested).

ok, i tried that but i am not seeing any option to center the page. i see
general, background, meta tags, scrollbars, and page transitions.

At the very bottom under general there is a box to tick to center the page.

ok, see i am a guy and you should know that guys are blind to things that are right infront of their nose. how many times have you seen a guy not beable to find the mayonaise in the fridge when it was right there in front of his face. well i found the mayonaise now..thanks. i will check it out and see how it spreads

no change on my screen. i wonder if i am just seeing it different on this 19 inch widescreen flat pannel display i am using. it didn't move over when i maximized.
