Thread: Can ftp independently but not publish from the BlueVoda GUI

I can define my FTP address, userid, and password in CuteFTP and get to my folders.

When I try to publish, it says unable to ftp due to authentication error. My ftp address is not in the list on the publish window. Should the list contain the address I was given in my lgin information note?

Are you using CuteFTP as stated above?, if yes..You must manually define the IP address...Click the below....

I appreciate the suggestion, I watched the tutorial for BlueFTP and CuteFTP, CuteFTP works fine for me. I have 2 questions, after watching the tutorials.

How do I get to the HTTP version of the BVP page I created index.bvp? (So I can transfer the http file using CuteFTP)

You need to download the newest version of BV, you'll then see it listed. Not sure what program you're using, but pages built in BV shouldn't be uploaded via ftp, you should use the publish feature within BV.
