Is there a way to line up text and images perfectly and evenly?

it's hard to tell without seeing the page you're talking about. Could you publish and post the link?

It's easy to line them up. In BV - on the bottom right of the screen - it gives the coordinates for everything you put on the page. (x and y) - Use those to make sure you line your elements up.
