I put a support ticket in and they say they have no problems getting to my site.
I wonder if anyone else can try then I will know if it is a problem with my computer,if it is
does anybody know how to resolve tis problem

OK for me too. BTW, your index page takes 38.90 seconds to load on a 56K connection.

    Hello again everybody
Thanks for your replies and sorry for the delay,
my daughter needed the computer for her homework
and it was too lateto start again after she had finished.
I could log into cpanel but could not link from it.
I could search for any site and access any but my own
which would come up with the error 500 when I linked to any of the pages.
It is Tuesday morning now and the my site is appearing ok again after the computer being off overnight.
I had rebooted several times last night to no avail
This is the third time this has happened to me and I still cannot find any reason for it.
Thanks for any help and I would appreciate if anyone could give me a reason why this should happen.
    Allan
