Thread: somebody help me I am losing it

My text sits on top of a shape. The text is in black the shape in gradient gold and white. but it appears my text background is the same color as my background. This is not good. How would I change my text backgorund to transparernt or clear. My text shows fine, black text on my gradient backdrop. Some search engines are picking it up as hidden text. you need to be a little more specific. Such as whether the text is in a text box or table.

When I type text it types the the color as the background color. So say, my page properties background is set for green my text is set for black. The problen I am having is I do not want no background when I am typing text. I just want black text. But when I type on a shape, while I am typing the text is black background is green. When finished, the background turns to the shape color and the text is black the way I want it. But my seo program picks it up as hidden text but thet text visible. It is strange because this is only occurring on a few pages, all my pages have been done the same way. So basically the question would be how do you type text with no background?

You have still not stated how you inserted the text.

You can insert it in two ways...into a table by double clicking in the table and typing directly or via insert text option...please state which method you used.

Well I think I found my problem. My paragraph headers where the same color as the background. So I change the color. I used the insert text option. When the page loads background green first then text and shape then text on top of shape. I am starting to confuse myself.
