Thread: Buttons clickable only on the edges

I was able to get my site published.. yeah!!

The only problem that I am having now is that when I click on my blue navigation buttons at the top of my pages, the only way they will work is if I click them on the edges. If I click directly on the text that's on the button it does not work.

Please help. Most people are going to try to click right on the text and won't be able to navigate my site.

That's because you have NOT placed the text in the menubar, you have created separate text and placed it OVER the buttons. Please have a look at the relevant tutorial:

Hi Yvonne,
The reason why your nav buttons are not working is that they are not nav buttons.
They are image boxes with text boxes on top.
Go into each text box, select the text,
then click on the green earth icon in the top menu and put your link there.

Or use the nav bar facility where you can place both the text and the link.
