Thread: Saving templates

I have made my own template for my homepage.......but when I clicked "save as template" and submitted, (as per the tutorials) it disappeared. I have no idea where on my computer it saved to. I had to make a new one up. Does anyone have an idea of what happened so I can save the new one as a template? Thanks.

When I clicked "save as template" no extensions came up for the name and no folder showed in the window.

It's easier if you just save it as a page and use it as a building block for the rest of your pages.

Just a beginner here...but I asked myself the same question. Here is what I've learned...

In BV, click on file, then on "new page", then "from template". You will get a window containing any templates that you have saved.
