Hello, I have a site which offers free ebooks for visitors to download but I am having a problem with other sites using my download url on there site. Is it possible to make these ebooks only downloadable once you are at my site and block others using these urls. Thanks www.witguides.com |

***** is correct in the suggestion regarding hot linking, but remember that there's nothing that will stop people from downloading your ebooks and offering them on their sites that way. I'd think that the lesser of two evils would be to allow the hotlinking, but insert specifics from your website into the first page(s) of the ebook. Also, if you created these books, copyright them. If you didn't create them, I can't see where you have much to complain about in the first place.
