Thread: How do I open?

Hey all!

Ok, did all the advice you gave me, read the tutorials, read them again.... and then some more.

I think I have a pretty good idea how to build a page and use blue voda.:))

But... my website has been set up by a friend, she advised me to use Voda( very gratefull for that), and now I need to change some od the things she did for me, like add pictures ect.

How do I open an excisting page on my website???? I mean to change it?
I have been searching the forums for an answer, and probaly I am such a neewb, but I cant find it.

I made picture's and I want to add them to my site!!
I know how to work the blue voda tool, so I dont need explaination on how to add the pictures, but how do I get into the page I want to change?? where do I open it, from the blue voda tool? or from the site directly? wich login password to use?

Plz Plz help me out here, since I want to get this thing up and running!

1) Open the page the you desire to edit on your computer.
2) Make the desired edits.
3) Purblish the page.

The new page will over ride the old page on the server.

Did your friend set up the pages on YOUR computer?

Nope, I am afraid not, she did it from her pc.
Will that be a problem?

Hi there

Unless your friend emails you the .bvp files from her computer ... you could open up the blue voda web builder, and import the pages ... go to file, open new page and then fo to file again and open page from html and type in the url (web address of the page) for each page you have ...

You will have to make a few adjustments but most should be there as it is mainly all text, outside of your logo ... right click and save the logo as an image on your computer, you will have to reinsert this on the page ....

if the page is imported....will her (Mama Dragon) published version add any duplicate, yet different filename, elements to her site. example bv0151.gif, etc.. Since her friend published, and these are dynamically generated filenames (for menus and such) will this affect anything?
