Default Adding a calender page

Hi, I have done this once in awhile and it always confuses me. Publishing another page, BV builder defaults to public_html and I keep getting the "no such file or folder" message. So I fwd slash to calender. And then "domain name/ calender" and neither work. Can someone explain this to me so I can print it out and superglue it to my forehead? Thanks, Keith.

should just be public_html/calender

if you have a folder created and named "calender" where you want your page to publish

you can create the folder in either FTP or File Manager.

Hello. I corrected the spelling on the calendar (thanks) page, and checked the server number and they match. Trying to publish to public_html/calendar2007 and still get error 550. The calendar is in the main page folder......aarg. Keith.

OK, I created another folder within the main folder, and named it calendar2007 and put the calendar file in it and tried to publish. I did first create a folder OUTSIDE the main folder but can't get the file into it.

are you still having trouble? if so, what are your troubles now?

If you want to publish a page to a subfolder, you do have to create the subfolder first. You dont have to put the file in there, just publishing to the right location will place the file in there for you.

Just create calendar2007 inside your publish_html folder and you should be able to publish your calendar to Folder: publish_html/calendar2007

Ok go into blue voda. Go to the top of the page. click TOOLS. CLick FTP Manager. click connect in top left. make sure user name and password are correct. click Connect. Your files on the left are your files on your PC and the ones on the right are the ones on Voda. On the right, you are now in your public_html folder unless you have done this before and deleted it. Now in that folder you need to create your calendar2007 folder if thats where you want to publish it. click file new and name it calendar 2007.
Then when you publish your page you will publish it to the public_html/calendar2007 folder. I hope you understand this and I hope this helps.

The server ip was not correct, so I fixed that and re-published the page and hyperlinked it from the main page, watched the tutorials twice..."page can't be found". *sigh* I'll try again tomorrow....Thanks for trying, tho.
