Depending on exactly what you are trying to accomplish- you can create a folder on the server and then password protect that folder. Otherwise- if you are creating a membership site you would need a special script that processes that and stores/retrieves/verifies the input from a database. Both Naval design and Watdaflip (members of this forum) provide such scripting services and they are very good at what they do.
