    Default Text instead of buttons?

    Hi,
I`m currently trying the product while waiting for my account
    to be finalized.

My question is , is there any way to use text in place of
    buttons for navigation ?
So far I have not found any option for this.

    Thank you.

Take a look here Rick- these are the video tutorials for the BV web builder.- http://vodahost.com/tut_bluevoda.htm

    Then the one dealing specifically with your questions is here;
    http://vodahost.com/vodatalk/hyperli...mages-etc.html

I highly recommend that you grab large mug of coffee and watch all the videos. They will answer most questions.

    Cheers-

yep you should watch the tutorials for hyperlinking.
Basically you can put the text there that you want, then highlight it, then hit the little button that looks like a world with a chain on it (the hyperlink button) That will open a window where you can enter the URL that you want the text to link to.
    Easy peasy..

Just starting to launch my site and decided to test it out reidsunlimiteddesigns.com and exactly what I had to do to hyperlink this link is the difficulty I am having. On the top of the page I have 3 text boxes 1) About Us 2) Our Promise and 3) Contact Us. I hyperlinked all three of these. When you go to the text it does not act like a link, and it does not even open a window like the images (hyperlinks) do. I know they do not take you anywhere but at least they act like a link. Thank you to anyone who can respond.

Well- I do not see the line under the text so it is possible that the hyperlink was done wrong. I would suggest trying re-do it.

I believe even though the line was highlighted I did not select the letters to link. Thanks for your time

Fixed it thanks very much. How do you build navigation buttons that you usually see at the bottom of a page? These do not have any images or buttons. When I scroll through the images I do not see the one I would use for this purpose.

    Thanks again for your time

If you go to http://vodahost.com/tut1.htm and scroll to the bottom of this page you will find a navigation menu. I do not know how to make this because when you create a navigation menu it requires you to choose an image. None of the images are just white boxes or have no image. Some sites have these footer navigation menus but they are not underlined blue fonts. I am wondering how you do this in bv

    Hi Andy,

I hope you are keeping well.

    Question ?

Is it possible to change the properties of the text colour when using a text menu ? I know if we use the normal menu option we can change background text colour and mouse over options - text menu does not seemingly have the same variety of choice.

    It's possible, Rob.

Under the Style tab in the Text Menu Properties dialog box, you can create a Link Style of your choice...just click on Edit Style, then Add Style, and then choose the format you want.

    Hope this helps
