Thread: drop in post it note

Hi,
I would like to add a drop in post it note to my front page that has a link to a new product - how do I do that - so that I can put a little text in it and it will take them to a sign up and pay page (not yet created - also need help with that.

Not sure what you are trying to do. Do you mean a picture of a post it note with writing on it and when they click on it- it takes you to that page?

Have you seen an example around?

thanks for the quick reply. Yes it is a picture that looks like a post it note with a push pin in it and writing on it advertising a new product.
Unfortunatley I can't remember the site I saw it on last.
It drops in from the top of the screen over the index page. Got any ideas?

You really are a legend - now I just have to read it all and work out how to do it!!!
Also one other problem - I have a form on my golf website on the index page to sign up for a free report - naval design did the script for me - bless him. But now it's not working - go any ideas why. I haven't changed any of the script (wouldn't really know how anyway)

Can you post the script here (open it with note pad) and also post the url to the form and we'll take a look.

Also- what isn't functioning? Not able to fill in? Don't receive e-mails?

When you fill in your name and email and then press "send it now" it should open up a separate page with a pdf document in it, and also send the details to the database in cpanel.
I've gone into my ftp manager but don't know what the file is called!!! Is that where I find the script for the form?

However, it seems that you have edited your index page, and doing so you have probably used your own, original page, not the one that i had created for you, so now the form simply tries to mail you. Contact me and we shall figure it out.
