Thread: Website scrolls down slowly.

My domain name is 1 stop pet shop.net.

This is my website: http://www.1stoppetshop.net/

This site needs a tremendous amount of work, I know.

My issue is:

When I scroll up or down the pages of my site, using the scroll bar, the pages scroll up or down very hesitatingly, kind of like a "crotchety old man" (No offense to any older men on this board!!!!).

How can I get that fixed so that the pages on my site scroll up and down smoothly? Thank you very much!!

Scrolls ok for me.

Hi, I sometimes get this myself where it feels like the screen is trying to catch up with the mouse pointer. I am trying to decide if it’s a browser issue with my machine or the video card/board slowing down at certain times.
Be interesting to here any other ideas on what this may be?

Could be your computer. Try cleaning cache, cookies and history.

Yes I have seen this at times and it is usually when I have several programs or windows open at the same time.......do as bill has suggested.

All works fine my end. Probably an issue with your pc running too many processes at the same time. If using windows. Try pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del which will bring up a window. Click on the processes tab and this will show all the processes running at that time. You can usually remove some of the processes which are next to the name administrator or your name. Be careful of removing the system ones though as this could make the pc hang.

If your pc does hang though just do a reboot and all will be reset

Prehaps you need to upgrade your Ram..???
