Thread: forms

can i have more that one form on my site if they are on different pages, also going to different emails ???....
does it distinguish between the forms after you publish it???

im confused on how it works..or if it works..lol
ive looked for an hour for answers but could not find what i needed to resolve this thing

i realy dont want to publish and mess everything up that works now

Yes- you can have many forms.
Yes- each can go to one e-mail or many e-mails.

Go here: http://www.vodahost.com/tut_bluevoda.htm and then scroll down about midway to find the forms video tutorials. Once your familar with that- then try the tutorials I have made here:

how does it know which php (what ever that is lol) or thank you page to go to ??? i just dont see how the form and the thankyou page are linked ...

well now its all messed up now my first contact form doesnt work either

The form knows what php page to go to base on what you place in the action section of the form. thankyou.php would have your form data submitted to thankyou.php. There the php script would process the info and e-mail it. It would kinda work in the back ground. The only thing the customer sees is the "Thank You for submitting your info ..........."

ok heres what i did .. everything was working on my site
i had a link to page with a form "contact us " (working)

i made a new page "studio" and its thankyou page

published them .. now the contact us page doesnt even load from the index link and the new page doesnt work

how do i fix ths please ..its gotta be running tomarow
im so hosed

well i got it fixed !!!!
traced everything i did been pullin my hair out

it was the simplest thing
some how me php extentions were changed to html and i thing my browser being clogged had somthing to do with it .. i found this in my adventures well worth it

Glad you got it sorted out. Sorry about not catching back up with you. Have been limping along with a kidney infection and am wore out most of the day which limits the computer time.
