Thread: useing small pics to link to full size ones

I have been building my site all day now and trying to transfer my domain name and set up hosting on voda host. I do not have my account info yet, but should within 24 hours according to my e-mail.

1st question, when I use a little small picture on my page so that it loads fast, I want to use the picture as a link to the full resolution picture that will open up in another window. Is there a way to save all of the full resolution pictures in a file on the hosting site so that the link will just point to the file for the full resolution pic, or do I need to make a new page for every full resolution pic and link to the new page. I hope that was not too confusing. maybe there is another way that you can show me? I looked in the help vids, and got most of the site done but I couldn't seem to find out what to do with this.

Two options would be to use the new "lightbox" feature or the "gallery" feature in BV ... both of those will allow thumbnails on your page and when clicked on will open to the full size picture ...

The lightbox is incredibly easy to use and looks great. I haven't published my site yet, but on the first attempt I was able to figure it out easily with the tutorial Ladyeye mentions.
