Thread: Fear of losing my work!

I had a major problem that made it impossible for me to continue using my laptop.

Fortunately, I have all my works in a CD-R. However, I could not transfer my work from the CD-R to my new laptop. Each time I try, BV just starts on a clean slate, without all the work I know that I’ve got on the disk.

Does anyone know what I need to do please? Is there a particular system of saving or copying BV files so that when you run your disc on a new computer [which has BV installed], it would run with the original files intact.

Ok -probably you only saved a copy of the BV setup/exe file and then loaded that onto your new computer. Your working files are stored in the Blue Voda folder in C drive in the Program Files folder. If you right save that folder and then move it to your new computer- your files should still be there (unless you deleted or re-formated the drive.)
