Thread: help required on a few questions

hi,

have a few questions that i could use some clarification on please.

1.i have named my home page index,is that all it needs to be named?
2.i am currently creating a search page,was thinking of using the first letter as a guide( A B C D E F G etc) how can i go about this?do i have to insert text for every letter to enable a link to each individual letter?I s this the easiest way to do a search page/

well i am trying to do a visual guide to movie posters,so i first need a page that states a to z then have a list of films on the letter of the page that the title begins with.

Yes, your first page needs to be named only index

I believe if you check with google you will find they have this type of thing you are looking for and might be easier for you .. it will search your own site ... you might need to apply more than just one letter, because I am sure you have several movies that begin with each letter of the alphabet, I suppose that depends how far you want it to be narrowed down or the amount of movies you are listing ...
