Thread: A few questions - please help if you can :)

Hi Everyone,

Im new here and surprise surprise im not all that PC friendly. There was a just a few questions i wanted to ask. I would appreciate it if you could reply.

1) Can we advertise on our sites? E.g. A company wishes to place an advert on one of my pages. Obviously it won't be a proffessional advert - just one I have typed myself.


2) When my site is published - what will the domain name be?
E.g. www.cj716ssite.???

3) When we create new pages, we obviously wanted to link to them from a menu bar - how do i do that?

Sorry if i sound stupid - i just don't always 'get' computers.

Yes, you can place advertisements on your website ... you can even place google ads that will bring you a few dollars every once in a while ...

You need to decide on a domain name, this is something you need to check and see if it is available as well.

Your url will then be whatever that domain name is that you purchased.

You are given a free domain name when you sign up for hosting with vodahost, the only host that you are able to publish to using the blue voda website builder.

One thing i don't understand is, upon downloading Blue Voda, it said it was free - but do i have to pay for a domain? The problem is I live in England and cannot pay dollars.
