You can create folders and put an index on each folder
So if you were to have http://www.yoursite.com/contact.html, if you were to make that http://www.yoursite.com/contact/index.html, you can have it show in the browser to be http://www.yoursite.com/contact

As explained in by Watdaflip. The created lots of sub-folders on the server and are having ondex pages in each folder. Here is the proof:
http://www.apniisp.com/songs/index.php
http://www.apniisp.com/songs/
Both takes you to the same page.
