Thread: Website only showing Index - Help!?!

Hi Guys,

I'm new to using BlueVoda and seemto be having problems uploading my files using the ftp programme.

I upload all of my bvp files but when i go to visit the website all i get is an idex listing the files - the actuall site doesnt show up.
I'm probably being a little 'thick' but if anyone can shed some light on this for me it would be appreciated.

I need to check I am putting my pages int he correct file on the ftp programme.

Can anyone help me please?

Rename your Index page to read index, all lower case letters.

Do not upload your .bvp files via FTP it will not work. Click the below to learn
how to publish your pages. Also read the tutorial about how to name your pages.

Only problem is im having now is that when i try to publish straight from the menu in BlueVoda - it gives me an uploading screen and then it freezez and crashesd the programme out ??

Sounds like a firewall problem.

What do you suggest?
I have now managed to get the index file uploaded....but its freezing on any other pages im trying...do you think its a prob with firewall or pc?
If firewall - what do i do?

what version of BlueVoda are you using?
