Thread: Replace Home page

My computer crashed. I lost all my website info and pages. I downloaded bluevoda and recreated all my pages. Now I do not know how to get rid of all the old pages. I have tried to publish my new home page over the old page but it does not work. I have been able to publish some of my other new pages. I want to get rid of the old home page and use my new home page. www.butterflynbows.com

You actually have 2 home pages http://www.butterflynbows.com/ which is correct & http://www.butterflynbows.com/index.html which is incorrect.
Your home page should be published as just index with no extensions.

I have tried to save the file as index but it automatically saves with the .bvp

Hi, that is correct. BV will then automatically convert it to html when you publish the page.
