I have a pdf file in my public_html folder with 755 permissions, short, lower case, all alpha characters name, and still can't download it. The download manager just hangs. I can download other files from other sites including the www.BlueVoda.com/bv.zip given in the tutorial without difficultly. The ftp link is: ftp://www.callmekirk.com/tagr.pdf As always, any help is appreciated. working stiff         |

Never mind. Silly me - I thought that you'd use ftp:// if you wanted people to ftp a file. As soon as I changed it to http:// it worked. That point really needs to be stressed in the tutorial. Thank everybody anyway. working still |
