hi i'm new to this. two questions : 1. how can i link different pages i created before i publish them? 2. can i upload a PDF to the website or something of that nature; by that i mean not that people will download a pdf file, but rather see it within the website Sry if the questions are nubbish, thanks in advance. |

Hi, 1) Either by using link buttons or text links and highlighting the wording you want linked and then hitting the link button. If your website was called www.yourwebsite.com and you wanted to link to a page called 'contact' you would make the link read like this... www.yourwebsite.com/contact.html This will then open your contact page However, until you publish they won't all link up. 2) Get the pdf file and using youf FTP manager within BV, upload the file to your public_html folder of your account. Then link to it this way.... If your ftp file is called 'test' you name the link www.yourwebsite.com/test.pdf Then when people click on this link they will be able to download this pdf file, which is in effect the same as them seeing it as you put it. Hope that helps.

you mean that only when i publish all of the pages i can link them up? and about the ftp manager, when i try to connect it asks me for an IP, account name and password (from my own files)...i have no idea about it so maybe you can enlighten me? |

Hi Dan, You can create your links while building your page, but the links will not work until you have published your pages. When you sign up for hosting by VodaHost, you receive an e-mail with all the info to access your ftp. Hope this clarifies, |
