    Default Link Assistant problem...please help

    Hi there,
    I've got Link Assstant for a 15-day trial and the software looks really cool and it helps you a lot controling your link partners,etc.
    The problem is when you try to send emails. It's blocked in a way and they(LA people) told me that might be some configuration in BV regarding sending/receiving emails.

    Here is the message that comes up:
    "Exception reading response;
    nested exception is
    java.net.SocketException:Connection reset"

    Any ideas?

    Cheers,

    Sending email wont have a thing to do with BV, but how you set up your email. You would need to use the same settings as you do with outlook etc to send mail from your domain. If your isp blocks a direct connection then you will have to sign on to your isp settings, smtp.ispmail.com whatever it is and then your password.

    I have set up my email account in the control panel and in Outlook Express. I now want viewers to be able to click on to the email in the site (www.garden-at-mountain-view.com) to send emails directly. How do I do this. Please explain simply. Newcomer to all this!
