Thread: Need Help with Lightbox

I cannot get the lightbox to work inside my website, although it works fine on index (home) page .... please help. Website is www.shanynvallon.com. On http://shanynvallon.com/nina_jiang.html page -- lightbox is not working properly. Any suggestions?

The lightbox is working on both pages for me, however, your images are rather large, consider resizing these images and optimizing them for best results in page loading time ...

You can resize using the pix resizer available here, and you can optimize your pictures on line free at dynamic drive - .. if you can reduce each pic in size to about 350 x 500 and less than 40 kbs or so each things will work much smoother.

Hi, the main culprit on the front page is http://www.javascriptkit.com/script/...ivviewer.shtml is over 1 meg & needs to be reduced.

I am a beginner but have succeeded in publishing up three pages. A big step forward for me.

I am now having trouble with lightbox for my 'PHOTOS' page. When I click on the thumbnails I get a big close-up of part of the picture. what is wrong. Maybe I should resize the photos before putting them into lightbox? I was afraid of doing that in case they would then not enlarge when clicked.

Any suggestions for me. I would be grateful

Your Nina Jiang lightbox is working perfectly as Lady Eye said.

Resize all your photos to the same size as the Nina Jiang photos.

One size only. You can select the create thumbnails in the light box properties
and the thumbs will be generated automatically.
