Thread: Only my Index page showing

After a lot of newbie work i published the site www.solx.se but only my Index paga is showing, hade It named wrong so I changed name to index and that work fine. But van't get any of my other pages to show? What Im I doing wrong?

You need to add the "www" to the links, as in http://www.solx.se/kontact.html


Additionally, you cannot use the umlaut "a" in 'bestalla' as it is not recognized according to www protocol (use of symbols, spaces, or non-English prohibited).

hmm? the index page is still the only one I can see, I think a have changed al links but can't get this to work. Pleas tell me what Im doing wrong

You have your pages that you published starting with a capital letter
http://www.solx.se/Smycken.html

But in your links you have this http://www.solx.se/smycken.html

and that's why it doesn't work.

Your home page link does not need to be http://www.solx.se/index.html either, you can change this link to just http://www.solx.se as this will automatically take you to your homepage.

Adding www. makes no difference to your links working or not, however is a good practice to get into.

Your order page and contact page are also not showing.
Check your link addresses in BV properties whether they are typed in correctly.

I think Im getting there :) in spite of all the cooks.
My new problem is that It's seems that my site isn't showing in any serch engine? Why? I used some "Meta Tags". Google, Yahoo, Webrawler or Msn cant find the url (solx.se) or Meta tags. What are I doing wrong??

Please...let me see if I can sort this out for you once and for all.....(although well-intentioned, sometimes excitement replaces accuracy of suggestion when too many get involved and vie for position)

Please refresh once in a while to see new posts on a timely basis....I can wait only another few minutes before I must return to MY work...

As to the showing of your site in search engines - I suggest you read that area of this forum - read the ebook in my signature - and give it TIME.

I agree ... and like Bethers says, give it some time and really take a good look at her ebook in regards to techniques .. this will help alot.

You might consider adding a sitemap for the search engines too on your website .. http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/
