Default Publishing second page

Hi--:)
Well I have managed to publish a first page but would like to publish a second page with a gallery on it --Could anyone tell me what to call it and where to send and do I have to and where I have to create a folder for it in the control panel? I have buttons ready (Obviously will need to redo) to link to the second page, but cant understand the videos:))

Very simple. Name and save your second page as you wish, but the shorter the better. In your case, may I suggest gallery? or even gal can do the trick. Then publish it like you published your main page using the button "publish" on the horizontal up tool bar.
The URL of your second page will be http://www.domainname.com/gallery.html
while the URL of your first (or main page) is http://www.domainname.com/index.html

Now you have 2 pages put on the internet. The next step is how to link those 2 pages so the viewer can go back and forth. That's why you need hyperlinks to connect the 2 pages. Hyperlinks can be in forms of buttons, images or texts.

Looks like to me that you already put buttons on your main page. Open it in Bluevoda and double click on buttons. There's always a window with an URL slot. Type in the URL of your second page which is http://www.domainname.com/gallery.html
Save the main page and re-publish it again. You're done!

There's some more info. You would like to link back your gallery page to the main page right? make another button on your gallery page and type in the URL of your main page : http://www.domainname.com/index.html or simply http://www.domain.com (This short form of URL can be applied only for returning to main page).
Save and re-publish it again to make the link work.
Now viewer can go back and forth by hitting buttons. The same principle will apply for more pages to come.
So there's nothing to do with creating a folder or playing with the control panel so far.
The only trick is to play around with buttons and to find wheres the URL slot to type in.
In case of text or images links, hightlight the text or click on image and click on the link button on the up tool bar, the "edit hyperlink" window will open for you.

I hope I am making myself clear enough. Good luck to you:)

No don't get me wrong please. Making all the fonts the same is not a very good idea either. What I meant is about the size of the fonts of headings and body text. IMHO, titles and headings should be a little bigger than body text. But that's only the norm, artists can have a different taste, who knows? :)
I feel your joy my friend cause it's the same here!
Regarding hits, the best way is using Vodahits to promote your website. About roughly $100/year is not too expensive.
Good luck to you

Thumbs up Re: Publishing second page

I checked out your site. Without going into too much detail, what is your gallery? gallery of cars, gallery of trees, or the right one gallery of art. Just a piece of friendly advice your url would be better of looking like this www.yourdomain.com/gallery-art.html. But this is up to you just thought i would offer some insight. pet121
