Thread: help..pulling hair out!!!

hi all i have pubished my index page, that seems to be working fine, but when i click on the nav bar on the index page to go to another page, i get http 404 not found? i have linked my pages in the nav bar, should i be linking them another way?

Well in the home button you have:

instead of http://www.little-butterfly.co.uk/index.html

and the store.hmtl is NOT there at all in any variation thereof.

type in the links manually, dont use the ones that populate because if youve made an error in the linking .. there will be errors there too.

on the store page, in the long nav bar i dont seem to be able to get to see my product pages, i can also only see and address for bodysuits and babygros, not that the page comes up anyway!

in the nav bar address bit i put in address like this

and so on for all the rest of the products...should the babysuitsbaygros.html be saved in folder as that, or should i save it as full address? many thanks

I merged the two threads -

I only checked the way you linked back to your home page. First - for the home link, you do not need to type /index.html - but if you do - the spelling has to be correct - so that link doesn't work because you have a typo - /iindex.html

Go back and double check all your spellings - as that seems to be where your problems lie. (Looked only at one other page - bodysuits and etc - and there where it should be .html - you have .htlm - again a typo.
