hi ive been having trouble publishing

i have had some help from admiistrator im up to the stage now of publishing just one image on a blank page

what i would like to know how come in my error log it says found 2 files all i published was just one image on blank page

have just tried again to publish the exact same picture exept this time i get a different error log this time it dosent succesfully upload desert landscape like it does in the first log

Hi Mike,

what exactly is the issue here? Is it that you are getting timed out a lot when publishing? If so have you tried changing your timeout settings in BV?

go to Tools > Options

Does the page with the image show where and as you wanted it to? If so, forget the error log. If not, please state exactly what is the problem.

i have been getting internet exeption error 12002 i have tired changing timeout and it didnt work i have uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck i have removed menubars and tried to publish still with no luck i have cleared temp folder still no luck i i tried disabling firewall antivirus and anti spyware still the problems happening i am now at the stage of trial and error i can publish text on its own so now i try to publish 1 image on a blank page and you can see what happened from the 2 times i tried

for the question you asked i can view my page when i preview andwhen i do this sometimes the image on my site has a little red cross in the corner but i think this is because the image is not on my system anymore but im not sure
im just a novice at webhosting

any ideas on anything else i can try

If the image is not on your system, where is it? You cannot publish an image which is not there. Have you moved it to a different folder, or deleted it perhaps?

I don't know what the problem with the time out is. Almost looks like you are having problems with your internet connection!

However, on your first error log; I noticed you have a (space) between picture & (.html). I think you need to take that space out when you publish the page. Did you happen to put a space at the end of (picture) when you named it on your hard drive?

12002 Error Solution A 12002 error is a timeout error. You might also receive this error if you are trying to publish to the wrong IP address. Please make sure the IP address you are trying to publish to is the same IP address that is in your welcome letter.

Otherwise you are receiving it because you are trying to upload a very large file, or your internet connection speed is very slow. The first thing you will want to do is run a pix resizer over all your photographs to compress their size:

After you have done this.

1) Open up BlueVoda
2) Go to Tool >> Option >> Publish

Change the timeout time to 600 or more.
Also make sure that you are using the latest version of BlueVoda.
