Hi I'm Lyndsey, I'm new. Ok i registered my domain name a couple of days ago, I have done my web page and published it, but when I type my domain in the browser to view my page, I get awhite pagewith "Index of /" at the top and then a list of names of the images (including my homepage title) which when you click that it does take you straight to my website. Is this on because I only opened my account 2 days ago and registered my domain name at the same time, or is this a problem that I need to sort? And how? my domain is www.halls-marketing.com Many Thanks Lyndsey Hall         |

Well, if you watched the tutorials, the very first thing you'd learn about naming your pages - is that your home page HAS TO BE NAMED index - just that - index - all small letters, nothing else - You have no index page, therefore whatever is supposed to be your home page cannot be seen when you click on your domain name.

Many thanks for your quick reply Beth, ok I renamed my page 'index' and it put .bvp on the end automatically. I published my sit again after I had changed the page name but its still got that Index Of / page. Do I have to give it a while to publish or take effect? |

Your site is coming up fine for me. I suggest you refresh your computer - it's cacheing the old page. If that doesn't work, reboot.

Thank you for your help Beth I restarted my computer and its working fine now. Now I have another problem. There is 4 images that are showing as a whitebox with a red cross in. ive tried not overlapping them and moving them around and all sorts but I can't get them to load on. What can I do? All my other images have gone on fine. |

Well, I answered this in one of the 3 threads you started on it. Deleted 2 of them - kept one - the answer is there.
