My new site is www.keymansecurity.com When you place your cursor over a menu bar, the meta tag info shows. Obviously I don't want this showing - how do I change the appearance so the Meta Tag info won't show. |

You need to remove the text from the "Title" attribute for each of your menu items

LMBO - you aren't filling in the meta right at all for that to show - and you don't want the same meta on every page, either. You put meta information on the PAGE where it asks for it - different for every page. You don't put keywords in on the nav/menu bar where it asks - that's meant for what the page is called.

I think you have typed the name for your search bar + your URL. Example: Name:Clothes http://www.your domain.com/Clothes.html All you need in the Name is Clothes, and that is what should show when you hold your cursor over the search bar. Good luck! sfarless |

you had your Url placed. It is not in the Name line it is in the Alternate Text line just below the Name. Both names have to be the same. Name Clothes Alternate Clothes Guaranteed to solve your problem!!!!! Last edited by sfarless; 02-07-2008 at 07:18 AM. Reason: Changed Information, first answer was wrong. |
