Question Is it legal to have "Wii" as a url?

Well part of the url anyway. Wii is obviously copyrighted by nintendo but can i use Wii if it's with other words? For example www.wiiground.com or www.wiiplay.com

Also would a disclaimer help? Pne stating "we do not work for nintendo and are not affiliated in any way"?

Oh i c :) It would be a game review site based on Wii so you right they would like that as it's extra exposure for them.

To be on the really safe side - I'd check what their copyright, trademark info says. Lots of sites get away with things - that doesn't mean if the company wants to stop it, they couldn't. They probably don't if they think it's helpful to them - but that doesn't mean they can't.

True, true. I'll check with them first just to be on the safe side
