Thread: Help

I'm desparate. I can't publish to any of my sites. . it just sits and freezes. . .something is wrong. I've post on the publishing forum. . .no help. . .I've sent a ticket. . they said "run CCleaner". . .doesn't help. . .I'M IN DEEP DOO-DOO. .I have to publish to my sites everyday.

This started yesterday when I tried to upload a MP3 file of a 30 minute sermon. . .it was about 30 megs. . .it would not go. . .and since then NOTHING WILL GO ON ANY OF MY SITES. . .It only VERY SLOWLY will publish about a third of the way and then SIT AND MOVE NO FURTHER. I have never had a problem like this before.

My computer is working fine in all other areas. . .it just will not publishing to any of my vodahost sites???? HELP!

Here's a hint that I just discovered. . . .it is trying to publish that same MP3 file no matter what or where I try to publish. . . .THE THING WON'T GO AWAY. what gives?

I get an error message 12031 and I can now see it is trying to publish the same MP3 file, fails. . and then when i try to publish something else. . .it only attempts to publish the MP3. .. .fails and gives me the same error message. Somehow the system needs to be cleared.

Have you rebooted?

Solved!

Two things I learned:
1. make sure you set your publishing "time-out" to allow enough time for larger files to upload.

2. I had to go to my temp folder and erase that MP3 file otherwise anytime I tried to publish, it would try again to upload the same file.
