Thread: images

I emailed all of my website files to myself to open at my office computer so I can work on the website there. I saved them all just as they were on my home computer and opened BV. I get the pages and all the text etc, but everywhere there is supposed to be an image it just says "image not found" and is blank. What did I do wrong?

The path to the image is based on the file structure of where you made it. One one computer it will be

C:\Documents and Settings\Username_1\My Documents\My Images\some_image.jpg

On you other computer it will be

C:\Documents and Settings\Username_2\My Documents\My Images\some_image.jpg

Since these are different its looking in the wrong location for the image. Also if you didn't send the images to your other computer its not going to show up even if the paths were the same.

From what I remember reading.. even if you publish when the images don't show its still going to show up correctly on your website (I can't say for sure I don't use BV).
