Thread: Help a Newbie

Iam using microsoft publisher (only cus that's what was used to design the website). When i go to publish i get a window stating... Cannot save ftp://readingrailmen.com/index the folder is marked 'Read Only' what is it that i am doing wrong??? Our domain name is readingrailmen.com Please help

3) when i go to up load i get a window that says.... Cannot save 'ftp:// readingrailmen.com/index' the folder is marked as 'Read Only'

I think you need to either use Blue Voda 10.0 or use Dream Weaver . I can tell you right now. Publisher can work but I'm gonna tell you right now, It is VERY VERY difficult, time consuming, very detail (source code editing), and some tricks you need to know to make it work the way you want it to. Blue Voda Is a lot easier to use.

If you are using Publisher then you will have to save as a webpage [which is in html] and use Blue Ftp to upload the files to public_html in cpanel or a folder in public_html.

Why dont you redesign your Publisher webpage in BlueVoda as BV is much more versatile and has much more options which publisher does not have.
