Publishing my website

Hi

I'm totally new to this, I have created my pages. They're not very interesting, but I can work on them later.

I've set up my account - michaeldavisonconsulting.com

I've published the pages and they show in my control panel file manager, but what do I do now.

Typing www.michaeldavisonconsulting.com into my browser just shows a list of files. I recognise some of them, but my page doesn't show.

I'm more than happy to read through the tutorials, but there are loads of them. Likewise, I'm happy to read the forum pages, but which ones.

What I need to know, is how do I select and show my home page and how do I then show the pages that link from my home page.

Please help or point me to the pages I need to go to.

Hi Mick,
You saved and published your home page as "Home" http://www.michaeldavisonconsulting.com/Home.html save this as index (no caps) and republish.

Mick well done, your links to your various pages work fine. Just change the URL for your Home nav button to www.michaeldavisonconsulting.com (no /Home.html or /index.html needed)

Thanks very much Andrew. It was as simple as that.

I know that if I looked at enough tutorials I would have found that little gem of help, but thanks for making it easy for me.
