Question Video players links via ftp

I know I can upload a video to the proper folder so as to play it on a video player I put on on a Blue Voda page I create. The question is before publishing the page as HTML only, what do I need to set the player in question to play. In other words, if I use Blue FTP to upload the file "movie" to the proper folder we will call 'stuff', what should I put in the properties box, where you enter the file to play, before I publish to my Voda Host server?
I found if I set it to a file location within my computer, It does not work as planned when you go to the site I just created.

Do you want to play a video on your website? If yes, visit my site and tell me if this is what you want.

If not, then please be more specific.

Yes, the only thing on that page is a WMV player. I uploaded via ftp the file i want to play. I published the page HTML only. Not working, just bank page.
I do want to play a video on a subdomain page and I know how to link to it.

You can play in in Windos Media Player, Quicktime or Real Player. The way to do it is:

1-insert on of the mentioned media player (you can find them middle Left hand side of BV)
2-increase it to the size you want.
    3-Double click on the button,
4-Browse for the file (Movie File)

    Good luck :)

That is what I did. Then I uploaded that video it was pointing to via Blue FTP. Then when I published the page, I published the HTML files only, and that does not upload the video with the page.

This is the result, the WM Player is big, centered, my realplayer download device shows it shows up but nothing plays.

    Forget about ftp...

Simply chose Windows Media, then browse for the file (when browsing, make sure your "files of type" on the bottom is ALL FILES so you can chose it). Then simply publish or preview, it should work.

Look at my site... I just made it www.moneymachineguide.com/test.html

    Good luck
