Thread: My site on web with Vodahost comment

I have just published my site and when carrying out a search - not placing the URL in the box but typing "Prints of Cornwall" into Google - the only Google reference I can find is a comment form Vodahost about something I have done wrong. Have I not published properly? Please advise

It may take weeks (in some cases months) bfore Google indexes you. Also, the domain name is not always related to the search keywords by Google.
Check your site for proper SE optimization, keywords, title pages, headers, page descriptions etc, and create a proper sitemap to submit to Google (though some members in this forum say that this is not ne cessary.

Most of all, be patient....

Hi, couple of things to check on.
Have you submitted your site to Google or the other SE,s?
Have you matched your description with what’s on the page?
Have you matched your key words with what’s on the page?
Have you mentioned your pages the site is UK based?
Have you mentioned on every page within the text, that you are showing an image/painting/sketch’s of a drawing of a place in Cornwall England?

Thanks for the replies. I will go through every item carefully although I think most are covered with the exception of submission to Google. How is that done?
