About LinkBacksHaving been away for a few days I am now trying to finalise my site but find that each navigation button has a square around it and a red cross.
Where have I gone wrong?

Solved. Went back and re-checked everything including re-saving and re-publishing. Now all is OK. I know I have been told this numerous times but the advice is sound. re-check, re-save and re-publish often solves the problem.

LOL! That's like an electronics technician's 1st rule. First thing you do to fix the problem is bang on it!! It's suprising how many times that works! (38 yrs. an electronics tech).
