Thread: need help with cuteftp

I'm trying to use CuteFTP, but I have a problem.
I try to log in, my ftp adress being ftp://ftp.revgadget.net, and using my main username and password, but it gives me the following error:

ERROR:> [2008/06/14 17:36:10] Evaluation Period Expired.
ERROR:> [2008/06/14 17:36:11] Control connection closed.

Can someone help me to fix this issue?

What are you trying to ftp?

I'm trying to ftp music files. I managed to upload 3 of them with LeapFTP, but it took 4 hours to upload 3 5mb files, then it stopped with a error, and I have a lot more to upload, which is too long.
With CuteFTP I can't get to the stage where I can see the public_html folder.
Is there another way of uploading which is faster? The fastest upload speed i've had with FTP is 3.5kbps, too slow to be practical.

yu have a built in ftp with yur site builder. are you using vodahost as your server? if so its under tools and you would just upload them in your cpanel. if you are not using vodahost then you are in the wrong place

I do use VodaHost, and I am aware of BlueFTP, but I don't like BlueFTP because it doesn't show the speed it is uploading at and how much longer it will take.
