Thread: Installing wordpress to an add on domain?

Hi,

My main domain is chageyourshape.co.uk and I want to install wordpress via my FTP to my add on domain (modified wordpress not availible with bluevoda). How do I add a blog to an add on domain?

If purchased elsewhere: Do you have the nameservers for yourfitnessfortune.com pointed at VodaHost, and have you added this domain name as an add-on domain in C-panel?

If you have, you can:

• Set up a MySQL database for your blog in C-panel
• Change your WordPress file config.php to match the database details (as per WP instructions)
• Open the FTP manager in Blue Voda (Under Tools)
• Click connect and then click your 'yourfitnessfortune.com' folder
• Open your downloaded WordPress folder so that you can see all the files.
• Copy these files across to the 'yourfitnessfortune.com' folder
• Ensure that all the files and folders copied across successfully
• Go to http://yourfitnessfortune.com on the web
• Follow the instructions at wordpress.org to install your blog
