Thread: Editing Buttons not active

Just starting; Have downloaded the web page builder ok. Have a template loaded. The editing buttons are grayed out and do not function (Font, Bold, Italics, Color etc.)

What is wrong?

They are only active when you are entering text. If you are trying to edit existing text, highlight it and the edit buttons will be active.

Just to get you started......you must first click on the "add text" tool. It's just to the right of the box with an arrow in it. It is a box with an "A" in the upper left corner.

That will present a text box that you can type into. It will expand as you type and you can "stretch it using the sizing handles.

To set the text attributes you have to double click in that text entry box that you just made by clicking the text entry tool.
